Brilliant weekend at Scottish Association of Writers Conference 2016.

Cathie supports the council as Club Development Secretary and was please to join writers from all over Scotland at their annual conference at Westerwood Hotel 

The Programme for the 47th conference was packed full of interesting events. Staff at the Westerwood could not have been more attentive; their courtesy professionalism and attention to detail created the perfect atmosphere for an excellent weekend.

The Adjudicators presented their critiques to enthusiastic applause. Saturday night’s Gala Dinner was enjoyed in a Glorious Gothic surroundings complete with black table dressings and  tall silver Candelabra. If you have never joined a writers club and have the urge to move forward with your own writing please take that first step. You will find information on the Scottish Association of Writers website. There are also opportunities for postal membership to enable writers from outside Scotland to join in the fun!
